Our wool pillows are handcrafted using traceable Irish wool and wrapped in a smooth organic cotton cover for a naturally comfortable sleep surface. Wool gently cushions the head and neck while remaining breathable throughout the night, helping reduce overheating and moisture build-up.
Soft pillows offer a lower, gentler feel ideal for front and back sleepers, while medium provides balanced everyday comfort. Firm pillows contain a denser wool fill for greater loft and support, particularly suited to side sleepers or those who prefer a higher pillow.
Over time, wool naturally settles slightly as part of the bedding’s character, but regular fluffing and airing help maintain comfort and shape for years to come.
Care & Use
Wool is naturally low maintenance thanks to its self-cleaning, moisture-resistant, odour-neutralising, and antimicrobial properties. In most cases, simply airing outdoors regularly will keep your bedding fresh.

What are the covers made of?
All our bedding covers are made from 100% cotton woven to a smooth 220-thread count. Our cotton is GOTS-certified (Global Organic Textile Standard), meaning it meets the highest standards for organic fibre production, environmental care, and social responsibility.

I’m concerned about animal welfare, is it cruel to shear sheep?
Not at all. Shearing is a completely natural and necessary part of caring for sheep. Sheep naturally grow a thick fleece that must be removed each year for their health and comfort — otherwise they can overheat, become tangled, or attract pests.
All the farmers we work with follow high standards of animal welfare and are part of a welfare scheme, ensuring their flocks are treated with care and respect. Shearing is carried out gently by skilled professionals who make the process quick and stress-free for the animals.
Our wool comes only from trusted Irish farmers, whose focus is on the wellbeing of their sheep and the quality of their wool — both of which go hand in hand.
What's the difference between the soft, medium and firm pillows?
The difference lies in the amount of wool filling — and the level of support each provides.
- Soft pillows have less wool (500–600g) and measure roughly 11–12cm in depth (unpressed). They are very soft and low, ideal for those who prefer a gentle pillow or typically use a single, low one, offering a lower profile that’s perfect for front or back sleepers who prefer a light, cushioned feel.
- Medium pillows are filled with about 600–700g of wool and measure 13–14cm in depth, this option offers balanced comfort and support but still leans slightly towards the firmer side — ideal for most sleepers and sleeping positions.
- Firm pillows are our densest option, with 800–900g of wool and a height of 15–16cm. It provides excellent loft and structure, ideal for side sleepers or those who usually sleep with two pillows or prefer more neck support.
All of our pillows are filled with 100% pure Irish wool, so whichever you choose, you’ll enjoy breathable comfort and natural temperature regulation through the night.
Will the wool in the pillows flatten over time?
Wool is naturally resilient and springy, so it holds its shape far better than synthetic fillings. Wool naturally settles a little during the first six months of use — this is completely normal and part of the natural bedding process. A quick fluff or gentle shake will help restore its loft or a 2 minute spin in a cool tumble dryer (less than 40 degrees). With regular airing and care, your wool pillow will stay supportive and comfortable for years.
